The Rotary Club of Hunt Valley/James W. Houck Foundation Inc. annual Four-Way Test Awards Ceremony will be held at 7 PM on Tuesday, April 5th at Hereford High School.  We are pleased to announce that Dr. Nancy Grasmick, Maryland’s Superintendent of Schools, will be our special guest.

Our high school finalists will compete at our Rotary meeting on Wednesday, March 30th at 12 noon at Hayfields Country Club.  If you wish to attend, we ask that you RSVP online .  The winner will then represent Hunt Valley Rotary at the District Semi-Finals on Saturday, April 9th, 2011 at Glen Burnie High School located at 7550 Baltimore-Annapolis Boulevard, Glen Burnie, Maryland 21060. Registration will start at 8:30 a.m., with the contest starting at 9:30 a.m. sharp.
                                                                                          
The winners from the Semi-Finals will then compete at the District Conference on April 30, 2011 which will be held at Turf Valley Resort and Conference Center, 2700 Turf Valley Road, Ellicott City, Maryland.

The Rotary Club of Hunt Valley has a long history of projects to benefit school children in Baltimore County and Baltimore City.

A part of Rotary International, the Hunt Valley Rotary will celebrate its twentieth anniversary by hosting the Fourth Annual Fall Wine Tasting at Hayfields Country Club on Saturday, November 6, 2010.

Partnering with the national organization, Operation Warm, this year’s event will raise money to provide approximately 200 disadvantaged children in our area with new winter coats. The Club has planned a fun-filled evening of wine, food, silent and live auctions, all for a very good cause.
